We are happy to announce that the Metabolomics Consortium Coordinating Center (M3C) is sponsoring a hackathon that we are calling MetHax. MetHax 2021 will be held virtually on March 17th and 18th of 2021. The hackathon will be an opportunity for the group to learn from each other and share experiences regarding open-source software development and analysis for metabolomics. The event will be held on Gather Town which is found at https://gather.town. Gather Town is a different approach to video conferencing. It provides a virtual space that mimics real-world locations to foster interaction and collaboration. We encourage you to try the demo found on Gather Town’s website in anticipation of using it on March 17th and 18th. A link to join the Gather Town space will be provided before the event. We have also created a Gather Town guide to help you interact with the website.
